TÜGİS organized the World Food Day's meeting in Turkey.World Food day was started in 1979 by the United nations Food and agricultural Organization (FAO). This year's main theme was "World Food safety: Climate change and the Effects of Bioenergy". Chairman  of the Turkish Food Safety Association , Mr.Samim Saner gave a presentation on "Climate change and food Safety".
